Exactly ten years ago we invited for the first time Polish artists associated with the renowned Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław (Breslau), as graduates or teachers. This academy remains of great importance for the artistic use of glass in Poland.

All techniques for working with hot or cold glass, such as glass blowing, fusing, lamp glass, glass painting, cutting, engraving, architectural glass or restoration can be practiced here thanks to the wide range of technical equipment.

Experienced and highly specialized teachers, who also collaborate with international experts, guarantee the high level of training. Students have the unique opportunity to engage with glass in an interdisciplinary way, finding new perspectives for their own artistic expression – a situation that is also remarkable in this dimension on an international level.

We were very impressed by these teaching conditions and the artistic works that resulted, which confirmed our desire to repeat the invitation for a joint exhibition. Our guests from Poland, including internationally renowned teachers, graduates and students from the glass department of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, will present about 50 works.
